Tori’s experience is in anaerobic soil environments, specifically wetland soils. In Ecoss, her research will focus on using qSIP to quantify biogeochemical cycles in the Alaskan tundra. She hopes that her research will contribute to a better understanding of microbial communities and their role in soil biogeochemical cycles as these ecosystems react to climate change.
