Grant Falvo’s research quantifies how terrestrial ecosystems impact planetary radiative forcing through their exchange of greenhouse gases and their reflection of solar radiation. He has experience synthesizing data from long term field sites, automated sensor networks, satellite platforms, and ecosystem models. His current work focuses on creating a rapid reporting infrastructure for radiative forcing anomalies across the northern high latitude region with the aim of making the warming Arctic visible and actionable to stakeholders with the potential to intervene the world over.
